Verstehe nicht, was da "absconding" (=Flucht) sein soll. Wo sind die vielen Bienen, die am Ende zu sehen sind, am Anfang? Sind die zwischenzeitlich geflohen? Warum und wohin? Und warum wird die schutzlose Dame nicht angegriffen? Ich wäre stachelübersät gewesen!
Mein Englisch ist leider nicht so gut, als daß ich allzuviel bei flüssig gesprochenem mitbekomme.

Hallo,
laut Literatur (Ruttner etc.) soll Absconding hauptsächlich bei asiatischen Bienenarten vorkommen, aber auch bei tropischen Unterarten unserer westlichen Honigbiene. Diese zeigten demnach tatsächlich ein Fluchtverhalten: Verlassen des gesamten Nestes aller Bienen aufgrund von Störung, Feuer, etc.
Im vorliegenden Video erkläre ich mir das so, dass das Cerana-Volk mit der Nestlage nicht zufrieden war. Auch die Cerana ist ja eine Höhlenbewohnerin, und die künstlich geschaffene Lage dieses Volkes sagte ihm nicht zu. Mein Erklärungsversuch.
Die Bienen im Video sind entweder einzelne Fremdbienen oder aber, wahrscheinlicher, Bienen, die den Anschluss verpasst haben. Stechwütige Cerana-Bienen habe ich bisher in keinem Video erkennen können.
Das sind meine Erklärungsversuche. Ob es stimmt, weiß ich nicht.
