Die Drohnenschlacht 2020

    ... ist seit wenigen Tagen eingeläutet bei mir. :)

    Die ersten Bienenvölker treiben ihre Drohnen ab. Die Schwarm- und Zuchtsaison geht somit ihrem Ende entgegen, wenn es nach den Bienen geht.

    Bei wem sieht es schon ähnlich aus?

    Mitte Juli gilt bei uns als extrem frühes Datum.

    Aber es ist dieses Jahr alles um 3 Wochen nach vorne verlegt.

    Die letzten Tage haben die sogar mässig eingetragen.

    Hier sind sie noch schwer beschäftigt. Der Hartriegel honigt anscheinend grad gut, erkennbar am Geruch... :roll:

    Die Linde müsste bald anfangen. Bis zum Juli werden sie die Drohnen mindestens drin lassen.

    wir haben ungefähr seit 10 Tagen vollständige Trachtlosigkeit, dabei einen trocken-kalten Nordostwind von der Ost.see. Kein schönes Wetter. März, April und Mai waren hier eindeutig zu kalt und zu trocken.

    Hallo Kai,

    also die Drohnenschlacht ist mir ja ein Begriff. Aber was ist denn die Prinzessinenschlacht? Sind das unterlegene mit anderen zeitgleich geschlüpfte oder noch in den Zellen abgestochene Königinnen?

    Drohnenschlacht?! :shock: Wir haben Ende Mai! Die Linde fängt so langsam an, in die Gänge zu kommen, eh viel zu früh.

    PS: ich sehe kein einziges der Instagramm-Bilder. Hab auch nicht vor, mir ein Instagramm-Account zuzulegen, falls das der Grund sein sollte. ;)

    ja, da kann man mal sehen, wie unterschiedlich die Regionen in Deutschland sind. ;)

    Die Instagram-Fotos sind frei einsehbar, habe es eben nochmal getestet. Konto nicht erforderlich.

    bei uns geht es jetzt auch langsam los. Heute konnte man sehr schön beobachten wie die Drohnen freundlich :roll: nach draußen begleitet wurden ... Ich denke mal die einsetzende Trockenheit und die ersten Tage mit 30 Grad werden das ganze jetzt noch beschleunigen. In 14 Tagen nochmal Honig ernten und dann mal sehen wie sich die Situation entwikelt.

    Hier werden die Drohnen gefühlt gerade wieder mehr. :)

    Grund: seit etlichen Tagen kommt trotz des vielen Regens und der Kühle wieder etwas herein. Sogar der Bautrieb ist wieder erwacht. Ein zweiter Frühling? :P

    Zumindest bei Folgeschwärmen ("Nachschwärmen") kann es einen Prinzessinnenüberschuß geben. Den zu beseitigen, müssen die jungen Royals per Hauen und Stechen unter sich ausmachen.

    Niemand hat die Absicht, das öffentliche Leben einzuschränken. Niemand hat die Absicht, eine Impfpflicht einzuführen.

    Bei uns sieht es momentan genauso aus. Brombeere, wilder wein, einiges was ganz gut honigt derzeit. Deshalb auch noch der Mut zur letzten Zuchtserie. Schlupf 18.7. geplante Begattung um den 24.7. herum.

    Mal sehen wie es läuft.

    Gerade das flugbrett von meinem ersten Ableger aus einer Frühzucht beobachtet. Er ist extrem stark und sitzt schon seit einiger Zeit auf 12 Dadant.

    Es gibt tatsächlich noch einige Drohnen die aus und ein flogen.

    Königin und Brutnest aber absolut top.

    Deshalb meine Theorie dass spät und Frühzuchten meist nur auf Drohnen aus besten und stärksten Völkern treffen.

    Heute war bei mir die Drohnen Schlacht an meinen Ständen in vollem Gange.

    Alle Völker haben vermutlich alles was drin war herausgetrieben und vor die Kästen geworfen.

    Jetzt beginnt wirklich langsam die Zeit, in der die neuen Königinnen die Regentschaft übernehmen und noch ein schönes Brutnest bilden dürfen.

    Ein Königinnen Kunde hat mir heute erzählt, dass er ein Volk hat, dass gerade still umweiselt. Da dürfte die Chance auf begattung gegen Null gehen.

    Ich habe z. Teil noch massig Drohnen in den Voelkern. Aber tlw. auch nicht. Naja, was weiss ich als Saeugetier schon von den Insekten. Die Bienen werden schon wissen, was sie tun und lassen.

    Je stärker die Völker bei mir, desto mehr Drohnen.

    Von daher sind spät begattete meist recht gut begattet hinsichtlich des genetischen materials, genauso wie in der Frühzucht
